Seven updates shipped to the platform this month, all focused on how you review a session after it happens.

Transcripts are now built directly into the player, takeaways are faster to filter and share, and clips carry their own descriptions instead of relying on a thumbnail and a guess.

Here's what changed, and why.

In your reports

Transcripts, now live in Studio

Following a session used to mean jumping between the recording and separate notes to catch what was said. Transcripts now sit directly in the player.

What's new:

• Full session transcripts, synced line-by-line as the video plays

• Click any line to jump straight to that moment in the recording

• Backfilled across existing studies (multiroom studies still in progress — new multiroom studies get transcripts automatically going forward)

Why it matters: 

Follow every session in text, no rewatching required to find a specific moment.

Share exact findings — deep links for takeaways & clips

Pointing a teammate to "the bit around the third minute" doesn't hold up once a report has dozens of clips in it.

What's new:

• Generate a direct link to any individual takeaway

• Generate a direct link to a specific clip within a takeaway

• Works for workspace users and shared report viewers alike

Why it matters: 

Share the exact moment, not a description of where to find it. Discussions stay grounded in the actual evidence.

Filter takeaways by type + frequency indicators

Large reports are hard to navigate when every finding looks the same at a glance.

What's new:

• Filter instantly by High Engagement, Low Engagement, or Noteworthy

• Each takeaway shows participant count and clip count

Why it matters: 

Move through large reports faster, and see immediately whether a finding is a one-off or a pattern across players.

Pinned clips in takeaways

Not every clip in a finding carries equal weight — but until now, they all looked like they did.

What's new:

• Pin one clip per takeaway to mark the strongest example

• The pinned clip appears first on the Overview and Findings pages

Why it matters: 

The clearest evidence for each finding is front and centre, with no digging required.

Embedded links in takeaway descriptions

What's new:

• Takeaway descriptions can now include direct links to specific clips, moments, or supporting evidence

Why it matters: 

Findings connect straight to the evidence behind them — follow the story from insight to moment in one click.

Cleaner Player Comparison view

What's new:

• Post-play section removed from the Player Comparison chart and video

Why it matters: 

One less thing to explain. The comparison view now focuses only on what's actually being compared.

Clip descriptions in takeaway workflows

Finding the right clip used to mean relying on a thumbnail and a handful of tags, or opening it just to check.

What's new:

• Descriptions now appear in the New Takeaway, Edit Takeaway, and Add Clips windows

• Tags and descriptions display together

• Long descriptions and tag lists truncate neatly, with full content on hover
